Supporting Home Learning in Year 11 Product Design
Homework for Product Design Controlled Assessment will be set each week and can be accessed via https://thomastallis.showmyhomework.co.uk/school/homeworks/calendar_ along with support materials uploaded. Students will use their school email addresses to upload their completed homework to OneDrive, which is a shared online folder that they can access at home and school. We are able to access the student’s folder to track the submitted work.
Controlled Assessment
The Controlled Assessment work is made up of a single Design & Make activity based on tasks set by the AQA exam board.
Students will produce a high quality written A3 portfolio accounting for 58 marks and the product itself, which will account for 32 marks.
The Controlled Assessment folder is marked out of 90 and made of up 4 sections in total. Please see below for the deadlines for each section of the GCSE Controlled Assessment work:

The Written ExamThe GCSE AQA Product Exam is on Monday 27th June
