Weekly Controlled Assessment Session
We would like your son/daughter to attend the weekly Controlled Assessment session running every Tuesday after school from 3:10- 4:30pm in the DT computer room 0208. This will encourage your child to get into good habits with keeping up with important deadlines and seeking additional help as required. Students will be set weekly homework, which will form part of their coursework and they may wish to do this work using the DT Department’s ICT facilities. Attending the weekly session will maximise your child’s potential to achieve their target grade for GCSE Graphic Products.
Homework
Homework for Controlled Assessment will be set each week and can be accessed via Show My Homework along with support materials uploaded. Students will use their school email addresses to upload their completed homework to OneDrive, which is a shared online folder that they can access at home and school. We are able to access the student’s folder to track the submitted work.
We will contact you if I have any concerns about your son/daughter’s progress with the Controlled Assessment. If you have any questions please feel free to contact [email protected] or [email protected]
